SK Yee Medical Foundation Sponsored Palliative / End-of-Life Care Beds
at The Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society Jockey Club Cancer Rehabilitation Centre
S.K. Yee Medical Foundation is a charitable trust which was established by the late General S.K. Yee in 1983. One of its major objectives is to support charitable institutions or associations providing medical services for the sick and poor.
We do appreciate the support of the S.K.Yee Medical Foundation for sponsoring the operation of 12 palliative/end-of-life care beds since March 2013, and further increased to 15 care beds from July 2019.
Qualified patients would be taken care of by JCCRC team of professional staff including Resident Doctor, Nurses, Physiotherapist, Pharmacist, Social Worker, Spiritual Care Worker and more. We aim at providing the best possible care so that patients can spend their last days on earth in optimal comfort and dignity, being surrounded by family members. Patients passing away in JCCRC can also be granted our mortuary service for 2-3 weeks. For details, please contact our Patient Relations Officer at 3921 3888 during weekday office hours, or email to jccrc@hkacs.org.hk.
